(LifeSiteSite) — A disturbing video circulating on social media shows a woke camp counselor boasting of his success at indoctrinating a group of young teenagers in his care with left-wing ideology.
The one-minute clip was posted on Twitter late last week by the conservative Libs of TikTok account and features a young man describing how he convinced a cabin of 13-year-olds to embrace socialism and communism during five days of summer camp.
“I was a camp counselor for one week and turned an entire cabin of 13-year-olds into leftists. Here’s how,” the video, shot in 2021, begins.

“It started on day one, when the kids—of their own volition—decided to have an election to see who would be president of the cabin,” the man continues. “They had me track votes anonymously, and I may have broken the tie in favor of the obviously queer kid.”

The camp counselor goes on to explain how he told another child who “asked if he could be Mikhail Gorbachev to the cabin” that he could instead “be Karl Marx.” After guiding the kids to “discussing the merits of their communist government,” the man shared how he gave a book entitled The ABCs of Socialism to a child who had trouble sleeping at night.
“This kid read the entire book in one night,” the counselor said in the video. “The next day, another kid asked for it, then another. By day four, [the child posing as] Karl Marx proposed that our cabin cheer be ‘the communist cabin, where everyone is equal.’ And everyone agreed.”
Weeks earlier, Libs of TikTok highlighted another woke summer camp trend launched by abortion giant Planned Parenthood. The organization reportedly offered $150 gift cards to minors who participated in a so-called “Sex Ed Summer Camp.” In June, LifeSiteNews reported on the growing number of overnight summer camps designed for gender confused children in the United States. Boys and girls who attend the events are housed together and allowed to use the same private facilities, sometimes resulting in kids returning home determined to “transition” to the opposite sex.
