(LifeSiteNews) — On this second episode of LifeSiteNews: InFocus, John-Henry Westen discusses the perils of our time and how God is raising up heroes to protect and fight for life and family.

“We are living in dark times, but you know, there’s a saying about strength in adversity,” John-Henry says. “It really is true that during really dark periods in history we’ve had great heroes. You know what, this a pretty dark time, we have amazing heroes.”

“There’s been a lot of good news even in the last few weeks.”

This week’s look-back covered a wide range of heroic pro-life individuals, including activists who are helping turn the state of Virginia from blue to purple, leaders in West Virginia pushing back against Republican betrayal of their pro-life constituents with a compromised abortion bill, as well as Joan Andrews Bell and Lauren Handy, who were among the heroes released from jail following their sentences for participating in a Red Rose Rescue.

Closing out this week’s episode is a brief look at heroic Catholics speaking out against the diabolic disorientation in the Church, as well as our Mother Miriam Minute segment.
