(LifeSiteNews) — On this week’s episode of The Bishop Strickland Show, Bishop Joseph Strickland gives his take on last month’s FBI raid of Catholic pro-life activist and father of 7 Mark Houck, and shares some spiritual wisdom.
His Excellency calls for an investigation into who authorized the raid and condemns the U.S. government for being “way out of bounds.”
“It doesn’t sound like America at all, and that’s tragic,” he says. “Here’s this man putting his life on the line, putting obviously himself at risk, standing for the sanctity of life of unborn children, and being known for that crusade of goodness and life and love and the beauty of life. And here, his life and the life of his children is violated … those children are scarred from that now.”
Bishop Strickland also reacts to a Children of God for Life report that none of this year’s flu shots have any connection to abortion. All of them were developed from canine, insect, and egg-based cell lines. His Excellency brings it up to remind us science can be done “morally and ethically” and can “safeguard the sanctity of life.”
