LifeSiteNews Staff at our annual retreat

September 23, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – If you are a subscriber to our news, and if you’re considering a donation to our mission, this may be the most important fundraising letter that you read! We strongly encourage you to spend a few short moments to read it in full.

We hope after reading this email, you will see just how critical your financial support will be in helping us fuel this quickly expanding truth mission. We have just 5 days left – and a steep $162,606 left to raise.

We are confident you’ll agree there’s never been a better time to link arms with us through a financial gift. Hopefully, you will have a better understanding of all the moving parts and incredible amount LifeSite accomplishes – on a fraction of the budget compared to comparable news agencies serving over 3 million unique readers per month.

Also, if you haven’t read this already, we are excited to offer our readers who become a new monthly donor before September 27th, your first gift will be doubled up to $25,000! You may also make a one-time donation to help us reach our goal.

Note: LifeSite is a 501c3 organization, and donations are tax-deductible in the United States

With the support of the LifeSite giving family, who are all readers just like you, we have seen a tremendous growth. We are projecting over 90 million LifeSite pages or stories will have been read, and we are reaching close to 40 million unique readers, just this year alone! This is astonishing.

The number of requests we receive from leaders and activists whose efforts and voice simply must be heard in the culture are greatly increasing – and we are doing everything we can with the people and resources we have to help them.

Please consider joining our incredible team of supporters today with a gift of $500, $250, $100, or even $35.

We now have a growing team of nearly 40 full and part-time professional editors, journalists and support staff around the world – and that doesn’t even include numerous other necessary contractors! Our web design agency, graphic designers, lawyers, accountants and the many other outside services help us run such a major website, but they come at a great cost.

It is only because of the continued support from our LifeSite giving family that our wide network of trained reporters are covering more and more breaking pro-life and pro-family developments from on the ground! (Check out the photo at the bottom of this email to see our whole team!)

As part of our core mission of news reporting, LifeSite supporters have provided the means to expand our reach and enabled us to respond to the cultural crisis on a much larger scale with these additional efforts:

  • Podcasts – we've launched three podcasts in 2019 (The John-Henry Westen Show, The Van Maren Show, and The Mother Miriam Show) that have been heard by millions of listeners. This additional stream of content has provided a new means of hearing about the most important issues of our time.

  • Video – we've expanded our video team to bring you video coverage of breaking news events related to life and family, as well as an upcoming weekly news show to summarize the top stories

  • Immaculata Fellowship – a revolutionary ten-month apprenticeship designed to build the next generation of leaders in the fight to restore civilization

  • Rome Youth Conference –  a collaboration with Voice of the Family offering an international program to equip youth with the knowledge and skills to defend the unchangeable teachings of the Catholic Church.

  • – a groundbreaking pro-life and pro-family petition platform. Nearly four million people have signed petitions, helping to create concrete pro-life and pro-family change!

  • Voice of the Family – a network, co-founded by LifeSite, of over two dozen international pro-life and pro-family organizations intended to defend traditional Christian teaching on the family.

  • Rome Life Forum – a gathering, founded by LifeSite, of international pro-life and pro-family activists hosted in Rome to develop a global pro-life and pro-family strategy.

  • LifeFacts – a section on our website with a compilation of the best research and information related to abortion and other life issues.

  • Faithful Insight – a 100% faithful, hard-hitting magazine aimed at high-information Catholic readers.

  • Faithful Shepherds – a one-stop database providing U.S, Catholics with evidence of where their bishops stand on Church teaching and key moral issues. It aims to help Catholics encourage bishops to be faithful to Christ. We hope to expand this to cover bishops of other nation

As our mission has expanded, so too have our needs. Thousands of new readers are discovering our breaking news every day, and they are thrilled to discover that there is a professional news agency that reflects their beliefs!

Thanks be to God our faithful supporters have responded generously to our fundraising appeals so far this campaign to ensure our news can continue – but we still haven’t reached our goal.

I hope you will help us reach our goal to continue to bring truth to the world by becoming a financial supporter today.

Please consider becoming a monthly donor today (and have your first gift doubled!), or consider a single donation to help us reach our goal.

Our journalists go above and beyond every day to ensure that our readers have the most accurate and truthful news out there – as a reader of ours, I hope you see this every day.

We have relationships with hundreds of leaders and activists who come to us first with news tips on breaking stories. They tell us that they want LifeSiteNews to be the ones to break the story – because they trust that we will get it right!

Our team follows up, investigates, researches, and reports on what they find in order to get the story to our readers. This often means days, or even weeks of research – sometimes just to get to the bottom of a single story!

In many cases, our journalists have discovered that mainstream media got a story on our issues completely wrong, and by digging deep have been able to correct the public record.

The investigations we must do, and the reports we must write are difficult – but they are necessary. We cannot rely on mainstream media, the social media giants, or big tech companies to speak the truth – it is up to us to share the truth in a world that so desperately needs it.

Please consider becoming a monthly supporter today and have your first gift doubled – up to $25,000! Your gift will provide the fuel our mission needs to keep running and go farther than ever before.

Few can do this work, and those who can often are unwilling to write most of the reports that we do. As a reader of LifeSiteNews, you count on us to report on these hard truths, and so do millions of readers around the world.

This isn’t a position we take lightly. Rather, we are humbled by the role we play in the culture war, and we approach our work as missionaries for truth. Every penny we raise through your support will go back into our reporting.

I hope you will consider joining the LifeSite giving family this campaign. We are only capable of restoring the culture through news media because of our supporters. Now is the time to join them.

A generous gift today will help us reach our goal. A gift of $35, $100, $500, $1,000, $5,000 or more will ensure the news you rely on will continue to reach millions each day. (Click here to donate)

God bless you and thank you for considering becoming a supporter of our mission.
