LifeSiteNews.com, March 24, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Apologies to LifeSiteNews.com patrons today who were unsuccessful in accessing our website for most of Tuesday afternoon.  The Internet giant DrudgeReport.com, which receives daily visitors by the millions, linked to a LifeSiteNews.com story about John Kerry. The resulting huge volume of Drudge Report visitors promptly overloaded and effectively shut down our server.  In a note to DrudgeReport.com, we expressed our gratitude for the link but had to ask that it be removed since our website had become inaccessible. We assured DrudgeReport.com that we would be upgrading our server within a month to be able to handle links on Drudge.  Such upgrades are very costly and thus LifeSiteNews.com asks our readers to consider a donation to LifeSiteNews.com   To contribute to LifeSiteNews.com go to:  https://www.lifesitenews.com/contribute/  See the LifeSiteNews.com story that attracted so much attention and which was featured not only on Drudge but also on WorldnetDaily and other prominent sites:  Kerry Catholicism a “Media-Op” Church Scandal Pro-abortion politico given Holy Communion while in ski suit, cameras flashing https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2004/mar/04032304.html
