WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) – The Biden administration declared that June will be called “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, And Intersex Pride Month” in a proclamation released on Tuesday. Last year, “intersex” was not included in the proclamation.

Intersex is a chromosomal defect that affects fewer than one percent of Americans.

“Today, the rights of LGBTQI+ Americans are under relentless attack. Members of the LGBTQI+ community — especially people of color and trans people — continue to face discrimination and cruel, persistent efforts to undermine their human rights,” President Joe Biden’s proclamation stated.

He criticized the “onslaught of dangerous anti-LGBTQI+ legislation [that] has been introduced,” in apparent reference to laws or actions that prohibit the chemical and genital mutilation of minors. These laws are aimed at “targeting transgender children and their parents and interfering with their access to health care,” according to the president.

The Biden administration has released several documents that urge the chemical and genital mutilation of children who struggle with gender confusion. The guidance documents support the injection of children with irreversible puberty blockers as well as the surgical removal of healthy tissue and body parts.

The proclamation continued:

These unconscionable attacks have left countless LGBTQI+ families in fear and pain.  All of this compounded has been especially difficult on LGBTQI+ youth, 45 percent of whom seriously considered attempting suicide in the last year — a devastating reality that our Nation must work urgently to address.

The president said he especially wants focus on helping gender-confused minors reach their “God-given potential.”

“As I said in my State of the Union Address — especially to our younger transgender Americans — I will always have your back as your President so that you can be yourself and reach your God-given potential,” the proclamation stated. “Today and every day, my Administration stands with every LGBTQI+ American in the ongoing struggle against intolerance, discrimination, and injustice.”

He again took aim at “dangerous State laws and bills that target LGBTQI+ youth.”

“This month, we honor the resilience of LGBTQI+ people, who are fighting to live authentically and freely,” Biden stated. “We reaffirm our belief that LGBTQI+ rights are human rights.  And we recommit to delivering protections, safety, and equality to LGBTQI+ families so that everyone can realize the full promise of America.”

His proclamation also boasted of “expanded access to inclusive passports for transgender Americans” and allowing gender-confused individuals to serve in the armed forces. “I am honored by the service of the first openly gay Cabinet Secretary and the first transgender person confirmed by the Senate and to have been able to establish the first White House Gender Policy Council,” the proclamation stated.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is in a homosexual “marriage.” Assistant Secretary for Health Richard “Rachel” Levine is a man who refers to himself as a woman.
