WINDSOR, September 11, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A chain of strip clubs in the Windsor/Detroit area is advertising in the University of Windsor newspaper that they will pay the tuition of dancers on top of wages and tip if they maintain a B average or above.  The paper is funded mainly by mandatory student fees.  Gillian Long of Campaign Coalition Youth reacted with horror to the news.  “These organizations are turning our sisters and daughters into whores when they are at their most vulnerable: when they are young teens, just learning to be women, and as university students, away from home and struggling under adult responsibilities and economic burdens for the first time,” she told LifeSite.  YM magazine, a magazine for pre-teen/teens, this month ran an article about a Playboy model who paid her tuition working for Hugh Hefner and how great she thought it was.  In April, Glamour magazine printed a story by a former stripper who 10 years ago wrote about paying her way through university by stripping. At the time, she said it was great, but now says the business almost destroyed her and she feels remorse for leading other women into the sordid business.  See the CNN coverage:  https://www.cnn.com/2003/EDUCATION/09/09/offbeat.nude.tuition/index.html
