WINNIPEG ELECTS HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVIST FOR MAYOR
WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Oct 29 (LSN) – Yesterday Winnipeg elected homosexual activist Glen Murray as mayor. Murray, a former city councilor boycotted committee meetings in 1991 to protest then mayor Bill Norrie’s unwillingness to proclaim Lesbian and Gay Pride Week. Murray was also involved in changing the Manitoba Human Rights Code to give special status to homosexuals.
