TORONTO, October 31, 2002 ( – LifeSite has learned that Carol Ann Trueman, the woman who was charged with assault after she pepper-sprayed a pro-life counsellor in Toronto’s St. Michael’s hospital, missed her court appearance this week.  A clerk appeared on Trueman’s behalf to say that she is in the Carribean visiting her mother.  The judge issued a discretionary bench warrant for her arrest and she is to be in court to face the charges on November 20 at 10am at the College Park Court.  See related LifeSite coverage:  TORONTO PRO-ABORTS KIDNAP YOUNG WOMAN USING PEPPER SPRAY POLICE NOW SAY THAT PEPPER SPRAY ASSAILANT WAS CHARGED
