(WND News Center) – A senior World Economic Forum official accused Canadian politicians of spreading disinformation, apparently for citing founder Klaus Schwab’s boast that the globalist organization had “penetrated” the nation’s cabinet.
Adrian Monck, WEF’s managing director, said in an interview with CBC Radio that politicians espousing such theories have bigger issues they should be thinking about, Canada’s CBC reported.
“Canada should be talking about a lot of things right now. It shouldn’t really be talking about the World Economic Forum based here in Geneva,” he said.
In a comment-and-question session in the House of Commons in February, Conservative Member of Parliament Colin Carrie asked why Schwab boasted that WEF has “trained” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and more than half of his cabinet, noting that raised concerns about “outside interference in our democracy.”
Speaking via a video link, Carrie asked the House speaker if “in the interest of transparency,” he would “please name which cabinet members are on board with the WEF’s agenda.”
The speaker interrupted as Carrie finished his question, calling for “order,” claiming the audio and video feeds were “really, really bad.”
But video of the exchange posted on Twitter indicates otherwise. And another member, who was present in the House of Commons, must have heard the question.
Charlie Angus, a member of the far-left New Democratic Party, charged his colleague was “promoting open disinformation.”
“That’s not debate,” Angus insisted. “We have to call out open disinformation.”

However, in a 2017 panel discussion captured on video, Schwab said he is “very proud of the young generation” of leaders WEF is training, including Trudeau.
“So we penetrate the cabinets”.

“So we penetrate the cabinets,” Schwab said.
The previous day, the WEF leader continued, he was at a reception with Trudeau.
“I know that half of his cabinet,” Schwab said, “and even more than half of his cabinet, are our, actually, young global leaders of the World Economic Forum.”
Schwab’s Young Global Leaders school, which German economist, journalist and author Ernst Wolff has brought to light, was established in 1992 as the Global Leaders for Tomorrow school. Re-established as Young Global Leaders in 2004, it subjects applicants to a rigorous selection process.
Members of the first class in 1992 included future German Chancellor Angela Merkel, future French President Nicolas Sarkozy and future British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Among its 1,300 graduates, along with Canada’s Trudeau, are New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, French President Emmanuel Macron and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.
In the United States, Democratic Govs. Gavin Newsom of California and Jay Inslee of Washington are graduates, as is presidential candidate and current Secretary of Transportation Peter Buttigieg.
King Charles III
King Charles III, who has known Schwab since the foundation of WEF, is a staunch advocate of WEF’s “Great Reset” plan.
Charles has been a featured speaker at WEF’s Davos meetings, gathering the world’s most influential governmental and business leaders to talk about how they can fundamentally transform the world’s free enterprise-based economies to address the “climate crisis.”
In a podcast discussion with Schwab, Charles touted the “Great Reset” and advocated radical, economy-killing measures such as “carbon pricing” of goods and “net zero” emissions.
During a speech at the U.N.’s COP26 summit in November 2021, Charles said the “scale and scope of the threat we face call for a global systems level solution based on radically transforming our current fossil fuel based economy to one that is genuinely renewable and sustainable.”
“We need a vast military style campaign to marshal the strength of the global private sector, with trillions at its disposal far beyond global GDP and, with the greatest respect, beyond even the governments of the world’s leaders,” he said.
Charles addressed the World Economic Forum in 2020, declaring the world’s leaders “must rapidly realign our own economy to mimic nature’s economy and work in harmony with it.”
Saving the world
In May, ahead of the annual Davos confab, Schwab said the timing of the meeting for mankind was fortuitous, with WEF ready to “confront” all of the world’s problems, including “the climate crisis.”
He warned that at Davos there would be “no place for the frivolous fringe that seeks to distract and divert attention.”
The Biden administration is a strong advocate of the World Economic Forum, adopting its term “Build Back Better,” which captures the idea of a “Great Reset” of capitalism and of the world order in the aftermath of the pandemic.
After the November 2020 election, WND reported, former Secretary of State John Kerry and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in a WEF panel that a Joe Biden presidency would help propel the “Great Reset” plan. Kerry, who attended the 2022 Davos gathering, said at the time that the “notion of a reset is more important than ever before” and the world is “at the dawn of an extremely exciting time.”
Kerry, now Biden’s climate czar, said the rejoining of the Paris Climate Accord by Biden would help drive the “Great Reset.” But rejoining Paris is “not enough,” Kerry said, promising the Biden administration would engage “every sector of the American economy” to help achieve the “2035 goal” of “net neutrality with respect to power and production.”
At the Davos meeting in May, two European leaders echoed remarks President Biden had made that week, describing the record gas prices as part of a “painful” period of “transition” to alternative energy that should not be resisted. Biden had said the pain at the pump was part of “an incredible transition” of the American economy away from oil and natural gas.
‘Capitalism as we have known it is dead’
Fact-checkers once dismissed the “Great Reset conspiracy theory,” but Schwab made it clear as early as June 2020 that the COVID-19 pandemic should be exploited as an opportunity to advance the globalist agenda promoted by his Davos conferences, which have pushed for numerous proposals, such as a worldwide carbon tax, to redistribute wealth and shift sovereignty from nation states to global entities.
Schwab wrote that “the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions” and bring about a “‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”
A Reuters fact check in December missed the core concern about the “Great Reset” when it argued that it is not a secret plot. Its critics, in fact, agree that it’s an open plot to “reset capitalism,” with its own web page.
At the January 2021 virtual Davos meeting, a Fortune 500 CEO affirmed WEF’s assertion that “capitalism as we have known it is dead.”
Later that year, Pope Francis called for a “new world order” in a book titled “God and the World to Come.” He described the new order as a shift from financial speculation, fossil fuels and military build-up to a green economy based on inclusiveness. In November 2018, as WND reported, progressive filmmaker Michael Moore claimed Pope Francis told him capitalism is a sin and urged Moore to continue making his left-leaning documentaries.
WEF: Time to ‘work jointly’ with China for peace and prosperity
WEF’s January 2021 meeting was kicked off by a speech from China’s president and general secretary of the Communist Party, Xi Jinping. Schwab introduced Xi by commending China for its “many initiatives” undertaken “in the spirit of creating a world where all actors assume a responsible and responsive role.”
“Mr. President, I believe this is the time to reset our policies and to work jointly for a peaceful and prosperous world,” Schwab said.
Schwab said in his introductory remarks that 2021 “will be the critical year to reestablish trust in our ability to shape our common future in collective and constructive ways” and to “accelerate the transition to a net-zero economy.”
“In view of this objective,” he said, it was his “honor” to introduce the communist leader.
Schwab said that in the previous four years since Xi’s “historic speech in Davos 2017,” the world had become “more independent and more fractured and polarized.”
No doubt alluding to the global leadership of President Trump, who confronted China economically and politically, Schwab said “polarization has created the age of disagreement, which threatened to derail humanity.”
“Now, we must come together to ensure that we capture the moment and move into the age of collaboration to build a better world,” the WEF founder said.
In his remarks, Xi urged the global community to put differences aside, warning history shows countries that go it alone “will always fail.”
“As we cope with the current crisis and endeavor to make a better day for everyone, we need to stand united and work together,” the Chinese leader said.
“We have been shown time and again that to beggar thy neighbor, to go it alone and to slip into arrogant isolation will always fail. Let us all join hands and let multilateralism light our way toward a community with a shared future for mankind,” said Xi.
After engaging in a trade war and designating China the No. 1 U.S. enemy, the Trump administration closed with declaring the communist regime was committing genocide against its Muslim Uyghur population.
Fauci: ‘Radical changes’ needed
In alignment with WEF’s objectives, White House coronavirus adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci has called for “radical changes” in the “infrastructures of human existence” in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
He made the statement in an article in the scientific journal Cell.
At a conference at Yale University in October 2021, Fauci was asked when the nation could go back to normal. He said Americans won’t be wearing masks “forever” but probably would need to continue with masks and social distancing measures through the end of the year.
We can’t just go “wherever we want,” he said.
Fauci said the United States needed to increase “international engagement.”
The Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) failed spectacularly at resisting the initial COVID lockdowns and vaccine mandates that were imposed by the government on freedom-loving Canadians.
Most CPC MPs subserviently complied with Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party in creating a police-state where our Charter Rights were regularly violated, but now Pierre Poilievre would have us believe they have turned a corner and nothing like it will ever happen again.
How can they rebuild our trust? Well, they can start by owning up to their terrible mistakes.
SIGN: The CPC must apologize for abandoning Canadians to Trudeau's COVID regime.
You will remember how freedom-loving Canadians were abandoned by the CPC, with Erin O'Toole calling for vaccine passports and most CPC MPs pearl-clutching about "vaccine hesitancy".
That was until the party realized how popular the Truckers' Convoy had become and got behind the movement.
It's quite possible the CPC would still be mute on vaccine mandates and lockdowns were it not for the heroic Freedom Convoy that converged on Ottawa.
Let's not forget the businesses, churches, schools and universities that were shuttered for months on end because of the COVID hysteria generated by politicians in Ottawa, and the CPC did nothing.
They did nothing when people started losing their livelihoods (with some Canadians even losing their lives to suicide) because of the government's deranged policy of locking people down.
The CPC must show they have learned a lesson from the COVID tyranny Canadians needlessly suffered and that they contributed to.
SIGN: Demand the CPC apologize for abandoning Canadians to Trudeau's COVID tyranny.
In yet another reminder of how disconnected from reality the CPC were, MPs like Leslyn Lewis, Marilyn Gladu and Rosemarie Falk were omitted from their "Shadow Cabinet" in November 2021 because they dared to question the COVID shots.
Canadians must still contend with vaccine mandates in some settings and the intrusive ArriveCAN system in order to re-enter the country, while we are among the last three countries in the world to continue discriminating against unvaccinated visitors who remain barred from entering.
As Pierre Poilievre takes the reigns of the CPC, conservative voters must demand an apology from the party that abandoned them during the COVID-hysteria of the past two years.
SIGN: The CPC can rebuild trust by apologizing for capitulating to Trudeau's COVID tyranny.
‘The final garrison’
In October 2020, Roman Catholic Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, a former papal ambassador to the United States, warned President Trump that he was “the final garrison” against the “Great Reset.”
In an open letter to Trump, the archbishop said globalists were creating a “health dictatorship” to combat the virus, threatening the sovereignty of nations and religious freedom.
Cardinal Raymond Burke has called the “Great Reset” an attempt to manipulate “citizens and nations through ignorance and fear” as Marxist materialism takes hold in the United States, Newsmax reported.
Burke, the former archbishop of St. Louis and now a member of the highest judicial authority in the Roman Catholic Church, said in a homily that the “worldwide spread of Marxist materialism … now seems to seize the governing power over our nation.”
Viganò wrote a letter to Trump in May 2020 warning that the COVID-19 pandemic was being used to usher in a “world government” stripping people of their freedoms. In a letter in June, he encouraged Trump in his fight against the “Deep State.”
