WORLD’S FIRST HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGES TO TAKE PLACE APRIL 1ST

AMSTERDAM, Mar 30, 2001 (LSN.ca) – With the Dutch laws allowing marriage and adoption for homosexual couples having been signed into law, four homosexual couples are set to be “married” at midnight March 31- April 1. Officiating at the ceremonies in City Hall will be Amsterdam Mayor Job Cohen who was responsible for the pro-homosexual marriage legislation.
