(LifeSiteNews) — Women dressed up as abortion pills while defiantly insisting that they would not be “forced” to procreate during a Sunday street parade protest of the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
“F*** the courts, f*** the state, you can’t make us procreate,” women chanted during the parade, led by a young woman on a megaphone, while a few of the protesters wore balloon-like garments emblazoned with “MIFE” and “MISO” to represent abortion pills.

“MIFE” stands for mifepristone and “MISO” stands for misoprostol, the first and second drugs, respectively, used to procure a chemical abortion.
The abortion campaigners mixed with opponents of Israel’s war on Palestine during the protest parade despite Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ radical support of abortion. Sarah O’Neill, 60, told the Chicago Sun-Times that she joined the protest to “remind people that the fight for women’s reproductive rights is ongoing” and that “it won’t end even if a Democrat wins the White House.”
“I know that the Democrats are generally pro-choice and support the issues that women have, but you never know what’s going to happen,” she said.
Her statement is remarkable considering that Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has declared abortion to be “a woman’s most fundamental right;” as a senator has voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act; and as a presidential candidate supports unlimited abortion and wants to overturn pro-life laws in dozens of states.
Running mate Tim Walz has even supported China’s former one-child policy, which involved forced abortion. The one-child policy was necessary, Walz said, because “the Chinese population was so large.”
Vicki Roush told the Sun-Times that she joined Sunday’s parade to protest efforts to restrict the abortion chemical mifepristone.
“We want people to know how safe abortion pills can be,” said Roush, adding that she “hates” the attempts to restrict them. “That’s why I’m here, that’s why I’m dressed up in this weirdo outfit right now.”

This admission is ironic considering that one of the protesters not far ahead of the costumed women held up a sign during the parade that read “Trump and J.D. are weird.”
Chemical abortions both kill the lives of unborn children and pose risk of serious harm to mothers, as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) admits. Incomplete FDA data from a two-year span (2000-2022) documents 32 deaths, 4,218 adverse events, 1,049 hospitalizations, 604 blood loss incidents requiring transfusions, 418 infections, and 75 severe infections from mifepristone.
