October 11, 2012 (Bound4Life.com) – What happens when you drive a school bus to a Catholic school but tell a kid whose house has a Mitt Romney sign in the yard that maybe his mom should have aborted him? Your job gets aborted, and rightfully so.

Gone are the days when the school bus issues were kids throwing others kids’ hats, with the bus driver calling “Quiet down back there or I’ll stop this bus!” Now it’s the bus driver who needs to quiet down. Freedom Eden reports:

Apparently, the Romney-Ryan yard sign bugs the bus driver and she’s been harassing the boy, making rude comments to him related to politics.

When the driver engaged the 12-year-old boy in a political conversation, he responded by saying that Obama is pro-abortion.

The bus driver allegedly said to the child, “Maybe your mom should have chosen abortion for you.”

Understandably, this really upset the boy. Other kids on the bus verified the boy’s account and are providing written statements.

The mom made her son’s school aware of the situation. She also went to Durham School Service in New Berlin and spoke to Michael Bennett, the manager.

It seems that some justice was done because after the story was reported and verified, Durham School Services issued a statement that the bus driver was fired the next day.

We can only hope if the child knew that Obama was a pro-abortion president and said that was the reason his family wasn’t voting for him, that he has a family that will help him understand that the bus driver might have been mature in years, but obviously not in her heart to say such an awful thing to a young boy.

Folks, I have said this before and I’ll continue to hammer it — this is the type of thing that happens when a culture of death is perpetuated by our leaders. Abortion becomes a word without much meaning. I can’t imagine that bus driver was thinking to herself, “I wish you would die, child; your life is not worth living and you never should have had a chance to walk on this earth.” But that’s what she said. In reality, that’s what she told the child. If abortion weren’t harmful and dangerous, the bus driver wouldn’t be fired. She was fired because she told a child he should have been killed before birth.

Proverbs 18:21 says “death and life are in the power of the tongue,” and we see this all the time when we speak so casually about “abortion,” some clinical world that means “terminate a pregnancy.” But every time we speak the word abortion, we speak death. Fortunately, Durham School Services saw this and stopped the bus driver’s words of death. We must continue to speak LIFE by speaking against abortion – the murder of a pre-born child who is very much alive when the procedure happens.
