March 5, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The urbane and enlightened website The Huffington Post featured an article last week encouraging the pro-life movement to embrace its alleged “racism” and support abortion-on-demand – by envisioning their daughters killing the babies of black men.

Gregory S. Parks, a law professor at Wake Forest University, implied that the pro-abortion movement might be wise to confirm white hatred of interracial marriage if it promoted abortion. He began his February 27 essay by quoting Matthew McConnaughey's speech in the 18-year-old movie A Time to Kill:

This is a story about a little girl walking home from the grocery store one sunny afternoon. … Can you see her? Her raped, beaten, broken body…left to die. Can you see her? I want you to picture that little girl. Now imagine she's white.

“The question is to what extent such racial imagery would effectuate a change in constituent attitudes in other political spheres today,” Parks wrote. He then pivoted immediately to abortion.

“Ever since the United States Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision, which expanded women's access to abortion, Republicans have sought to reverse those gains,” he said.

He proceeded to interweave a series of vignettes of centuries-old racial oppression and recent pro-life statements, presumably to fuse the two together in the reader's mind. Then he asked what would happen if pro-lifers were forced to imagine their daughter carrying a racially mixed child.

“This anxiety about white women being the victim of black men's libidinal pangs, concupiscent urges, and exertion of power and violence has … been a historical and cultural-legal fact,” he asserted, drawing on hoary, feminist stereotypes of Southern men.

“It is this anxiety, or hostility, in some on the political right against black-male/white-female interracial love, sex, marriage, and, in the worst of scenarios, rape, that should help inform their judgments about abortion,” he concluded.

That's right. The Huffington Post just wrote that pro-lifers should embrace their inner racist so they can use abortion to kill black babies.

Parks seems reticent to apply this interracial imagery to other controversial social issues, such as inviting ignurrrnt Southern crackers to envision black men “marrying” white men. But it is rather startling to see the pro-abortion movement admit it will do anything, including stoke the fires of racism, in order to promote abortion.

No sooner had Parks' tactic been announced than it was practiced. On Monday, Alabama State Rep. Alvin Holmes, a pro-abortion Democrat who is black, told pro-life representatives, “If your daughter got pregnant by a black man, you gonna make her have an abortion. You not gonna let her have the baby.”

A pro-life woman rebuffed him at the hearing, but actions speak louder than words. The pro-life movement is trying to save all babies regardless of racial or ethnic background. And it is minority groups more than any other that have seen their numbers decimated by abortion.

According to the most recent CDC statistics on abortion nationwide, “Non-Hispanic white women had the lowest abortion rates,” accounting for 36.8 percent of all abortions. On the other hand, “non-Hispanic black women had the highest.” If the pro-life movement succeeds, minority communities would disproportionately benefit.

Why would “racists” save minority babies, especially when some white racial activists say they believe in “mandatory” abortion or “free abortions” for minorities.

It is only hardcore racists and certain abortionists cum Democratic Party donors who show an enthusiasm for aborting “ugly black babies.”

If racist terrorists wanted to strike a blow against minorities in America, they'd bomb their local crisis pregnancy center.

…Or donate to Planned Parenthood.
