August 27, 2012 (HLIWorldWatch.org) – Our mission to protect life and family in the Philippines is in serious jeopardy. President Benigno Aquino is using all his power and influence to pass the anti-life Reproductive Health (RH) Bill by any means necessary.

Recently, 180 congressmen trooped to a hastily called meeting at the presidential palace where they broke all the rules, disregarded the valiant objections of our pro-life congressmen, and forced an early vote on a procedural matter in order to ram through this anti-life legislation. On top of that, a motion for nominal voting which requires everyone to explain their votes was ruled “out of order” — in the words of one our pro-life congressmen, “so people won’t know who betrayed us.”

“We are dismayed by the display of naked power. We lament the unilateral disregard of prior agreement in the pursuit of selfish goals. We detest the unbridled resort to foul tactics. We denounce the brazen disregard of the basic tenets of fair play and attempt to railroad the passage of the (RH) Bill,” said Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) President Archbishop Jose S. Palma in a statement denouncing the actions of the House of Representatives and President Aquino.

Indeed it was a blatant show of force and another open declaration of war with the Catholic Church, who just two days before led a massive nationwide prayer rally against this most deplorable bill.

Truly the Filipino family is under siege by international death peddlers — among them USAID, UNFPA, IPPF, and others which are pouring limitless funds into our country to annihilate the nation’s children.

With our deep faith in God and the powerful intercession of the Blessed Mother, who we Filipinos fondly call MAMA MARY, we are determined to fight the good fight, and continue the battle for God, life, family, and the future of our predominantly Catholic nation. Inspired by the story of David and Goliath, we trust that even just with our slingshots we will be able to slay the multi-headed giant now trying finally to pass the RH Bill as a means to create the legal structures to implement more aggressive population control measures, ultimately force the legalization of abortion (disguised in the term “reproductive health”); make killer contraceptives “essential medicines”; mandate comprehensive sex education teaching children to enjoy sex (as early as Grade Five); and impose a two-child policy on the Philippines – all under the threat of six months imprisonment and a fine of up to fifty thousand pesos! And they call this “freedom of choice.”

To all people of goodwill, particularly our fellow Filipinos all over the world, I beg for your unceasing prayers — for our country and for us in the battlefield. We certainly need Divine Intervention to save us from the growing onslaught of the Culture of Death. Aside from prayers, we need to continue with our massive public information activities to open the eyes of our people and reach out to as many people as possible in our over 7,100 islands – many of whom have been deceived by the relentless propaganda of the population controllers. We also need to reproduce more materials to give out to them, and sustain our increasingly challenging fight.

For this we need your help. If you have even three dollars to spare, please give to Human Life International so we can continue fighting — even if it means giving up our lives!

I assure you that every cent you give, we will repay with our never-ending commitment, hard work, and unceasing prayers for you and your family. And, I’m sure, that as God promised, whatever you give will be returned back to you. “Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap …” (Luke 6:38).

Please support our fight with your generous donation! With all my heart, I thank all most sincerely for your generosity and prayers. God bless you all and God save the Philippines, and the world!
