Imagine being pregnant and blind. Meeting your baby for the first time will be through touch and smell alone. But even though you will never be able to see your baby, you cannot wait to run your fingers over his face, to touch his tiny nose, and to tickle his little ears.

Imagine going for your monthly ultrasound and asking the doctor to describe what he sees on the screen. What he says makes you yearn all the more to meet your baby for the first time.

But just imagine if that doctor used a 3D ultrasound that was hooked up to a 3D printer so that he was able to print out a model of the baby and actually show it to the blind woman?

The emotion expressed by the blind woman is powerful. Sometimes technology can help make the most beautiful moments possible, as it does here in this Huggies Mother’s Day ad from last year. Enjoy!
