CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, August 14, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — U.S. Christian evangelist Franklin Graham blasted Planned Parenthood on social media after news broke THAT the abortion giant’s new sex-ed promotes transgenderism to 3- and 4-year-olds.

SIGN the Petition: Defund Planned Parenthood

Graham, CEO of the North Carolina-based Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, also took to Facebook to slam the abortion conglomerate.

“Planned Parenthood’s true colors are showing,” he wrote.

“They’re in the news this time because their website gives ‘guidelines’ that instruct parents to teach their children, even preschoolers, that ‘your genitals don’t make you a boy or a girl.’”

“Remember, Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the U.S., performing over 300,000 abortions annually. The thought of that alone is staggering—what a tragedy.”

Pro-family groups were outraged when conservative media revealed last month that Planned Parenthood’s recent online sex-ed guidelines include counseling parents on “how to know if your kid is transgender” and how to talk to preschoolers about sex and gender.

“Your genitals don’t make you a boy or a girl,”the abortion giant advises parents to tell their preschool-aged children.

“Some people with the gender identities ‘boy’ or ‘man’ have vulvas, and some with the gender identity ‘girl’ or ‘woman’ have penises/testicles,” the Planned Parenthood sex-ed guidelines note in a section: “Who has what? A note about gender.”

Graham has never been one to mince words, especially on the subject of abortion and Planned Parenthood.

In February, he castigated Barbara Pierce Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush, for fundraising for Planned Parenthood.

“Raising funds for this organization is like raising money to fund a Nazi death camp — like Auschwitz, except for innocent babies in their mother’s wombs!” Graham wrote then.

“Planned Parenthood is the #1 abortion provider in the United States.”

A group of Canadian Christian leaders tried to prevent Graham from participating in the Festival of Hope in Vancouver in March, citing his controversial statements about Islam and homosexuality.

Meanwhile, the Senate narrowly defeated a reworked bill to repeal and replace Obamacare that included defunding Planned Parenthood on July 28.

Among the several Republicans who voted against the bill were Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine, who previously expressed support for Planned Parenthood. Rep. John McCain, R-Arizona, cast the deciding “no” vote.
