I first thought this was some kind of perverted joke. Then I realized they were serious. The fundraising initiative launched a few days ago on Tumblr is about getting people to eat tacos, drink beer, and then donate money to fund abortions in America.

Yeah, you heard that right: Eat. Drink. Fund the killing of pre-born children.

The Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada on its Facebook page called the fundraiser a “good idea” that could be used in Canada to help keep open the Morgentaler abortuary in New Brunswick.

How does it work? (Warning: foul language, albeit censored)

“You find yourself a f**king taco, or a f**king beer, or a f**king taco and a beer, then you eat the f**king taco or drink the f**king beer or eat and drink both the f**king taco and the beer, and then you donate some money to an abortion fund,” the creators of the project state.

“You f**king film yourself doing this s**t and then you send us the f**king video and we put it on the f**king internet.”

Their website links to a list of abortion funds state-by-state that people can donate to.

As of this writing, eight submissions have already been posted online of people — all women — fulfilling the challenge.

“Know what goes perfect with tacos and beer? Funding abortions. Try it,” posted Katrina Shawgo of Round Rock, Texas who describes herself on Twitter as a “chaplain. progressive. feminist. mom.”

The project even has its own hashtag on Twitter.

“do [sic] you love tacos? beer? abortion? well, do i [sic] have a challenge for you!” wrote Fatniss Evaaahdeen from Texas, who describes herself as someone who “fund[s] abortions,” on Twitter.
