December 14, 2016 (SPUC) — An American woman has filed a lawsuit against her former boyfriend, saying that he offered to pay her $75,000 to abort their child.
Elmira Naymark, a model, is suing Ron Ozer, a hedge-fund manager, in an attempt to force him to support his daughter.
She says that when she found out she was pregnant, after a two and a half year relationship, he told her to “call the clinic” and “take a pill”. When she said she was keeping the baby, he said he hated her, and called her “white trash” and “disgusting,” according to the Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.
Despite offering her money through a colleague in return for having an abortion, Ms Naymark claims he has given her nothing to support their daughter, who was born in September.
The story was originally reported in the New York Post, and was picked up by Cosmopolitan Magazine, which called it “a horrible ordeal”.
