Every mother thinks her baby is a little miracle, but pop singer Gwen Stefani may have a good case. The 44-year-old known for being the lead singer of No Doubt said at her age, she was certain she was finished having children. But her oldest son, Kingston, had other ideas.

“He has a direct link to God,” Stefani told Late Night host Seth Meyers. “He asked me, 'Mom, are you gonna have a baby? I want you to have a baby.' I was like, 'It's over. We're not having any more. This is our family.'”
Unwilling to settle for having just one baby brother – six-year-old Zuma – Kingston shut his eyes and turned to the Almighty. “'Dear God, please let my mom have a baby. Please, God! Please let my mom have a baby!'” he said.
“He prayed like every single night, and four weeks later, I was pregnant,” said Stefani, who is featured on the talent show The Voice.
After she made the announcement – by writing “We're Having a Baby” on a cake – a stunned Kingston said, “I prayed for that!”
The answered prayer for another brother, Apollo, has given the eight-year-old boy an insurmountable faith. “He prays for everything. 'Please, God, please let me have another cupcake.' Yes! He really believes.”
