NEW YORK CITY, May 10, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — Liberal comedienne and talk show host Rosie O'Donnell gave the audience at a homosexual awards banquet her assessment of the last U.S. presidential election: “Satan won.”

O'Donnell, who with her lesbian partner has adopted children, addressed the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards on Saturday. She admitted to having a “major depressive disorder” but didn't link that to her public hatred for the new president.

Instead, she congratulated herself for enduring the new Trump administration. “I’m still vertical after Satan won. That to me is a major accomplishment for someone who suffers from major depressive disorder,” she said.

Perez Hilton said O’Donnell shared with the audience a text to President Trump: “F*** you, Donald. From the gays.”

Before Trump was inaugurated, O'Donnell tweeted her opinion of the then-president elect:

Later, she tweeted again: “DT IS MENTALLY ILL.”

On January 11, O'Donnell advocated stopping Trump from taking office.

On March 1, just before the new president addressed a joint session of Congress, O'Donnell went to the White House grounds to protest. She told a crowd of anti-Trumpers, “He’s going down and so will all of his administration. The charge is treason.”

On April 6, O'Donnell tweeted yet again against Trump, comparing the U.S. election in November to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
