October 18, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – San Francisco celebrated Planned Parenthood’s centennial year of existence with a party inside its city hall, the outside of which was lit up pink for the occasion. New York hosted a similarly celebration at its city hall.

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, health department officials, and Planned Parenthood employees and supporters attended, local media reported.

At the New York event, Chirlane McCray, Mayor Bill de Blasio’s wife, presented the abortion giant with a proclamation declaring October 16 “Planned Parenthood Day.”

Ironically, Planned Parenthood tweeted an image of an African-American woman, a “living example” of Margaret Sanger’s legacy.

Sanger was an avowed racist and supporter of eugenics. She spoke to Ku Klux Klan gatherings and plotted to “exterminate” the African-American population.
