NEW YORK, New York, February 16, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) debuted a partnership with Planned Parenthood at New York Fashion Week.
Planned Parenthood, America's largest abortion business, is likely to have the half a billion taxpayer dollars it receives annually redirected to comprehensive community health centers. President Trump has promised he will sign legislation defunding Planned Parenthood as long as it continues to commit abortions.
The CFDA released “Fashion Stands with Planned Parenthood” pins that models, designers, and attendees wore during the week's events. The pins were accompanied “with an information card that outlines Planned Parenthood’s services and actions everyone can take to get involved and stand with Planned Parenthood,” according to CFDA.
(Did the card point out that Planned Parenthood does fewer than 2 percent of the nation's pap smears, 0 percent of the nation's mammograms, but more than 30 percent of all abortions? Or that Planned Parenthood “specializes in abortion,” meaning it's really, really hard to find one that offers prenatal care? Or that Planned Parenthood helps child sex traffickers and encourages teens to poop on each other for sexual pleasure?)
“Making a statement” for Fashion Week, Designer Adam Lippes released a photo of models posing with pro-abortion signs.
Another designer, Jonathan Simkhai, donated $5 per seat to Planned Parenthood at a February 11 show.
Other designers used their platforms to promote feminist, anti-Trump, and pro-Elizabeth Warren messages.
