WASHINGTON, D.C., November 1, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – The Little Sisters of the Poor have launched a new program uniting the “youth & aged” to promote the message that “every human life is sacred.”

The Little Sisters released a new music video highlighting the message that now is time to stand up for the pro-life cause and for those threatened by the culture of death – the very young and the very old.

The sweetest part of it is that the young and old are joining together to do this.

YOUTH&AGED for Life is an “intergenerational pro-life prayer group,” according to the Little Sisters.

“Each meeting includes a moment of catechesis, updates on local pro-life initiatives, singing and praying the rosary together,” the sisters explain. “Each participant is encouraged to take their turn praying a Hail Mary so that each one’s voice is heard, because in the Culture of Life we believe that each person’s individual contribution is unique and necessary.”

The Little Sisters say the project is “starting small” with one chapter in their Washington, D.C. home that they hope can one day serve as a “template that could be adapted to serve families, parishes, schools and homes for the elderly across North America.”

The pro-life order of religious sisters has been at the frontlines of the fight against the Obama administration's HHS contraception and abortion mandate.
