I'm hearing from 40 Days for Life coordinators, who are telling of the darnkess they encounter at the abortion centers. Here are some of their reports.
Yesterday as I was traveling to the 40 Days for Life campaign in Helena, Montana, I got an e-mail that really caught my eye. The subject line read: “40 Days for Life baby saved!”
While the diocese is allowing priests to participate in prayer vigils outside abortion facilities, sources have confirmed to LSN that it is also privately discouraging priests and seminarians from doing so.
The mandate is potentially devastating for the local group, since it is composed almost totally of Catholics and has recruited new participants through Catholic parishes.
"This place where countless children died … is now closed forever, and no more children will die here, and no more women will cry here ever again," said David Bereit of 40 Days.
In a little over two weeks thousands of pro-lifers will gather in Ottawa for the annual National March for Life - the largest annual gathering on Parliament Hill.
