The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report, released the day after Thanksgiving, says “the availability of abortion providers” and “state regulations” lowered the abortion rate nationwide.
“One of the worst ramifications of the easy availability of emergency contraception is the false sense of security that it gives to girls,” Janice Shaw Crouse, Ph.D., told LifeSiteNews.com.
The report suggests “removing cost as one barrier to the use of the most effective contraceptive methods,” such as the IUD and Norplant, which induce abortion.
