In determining the moral liceity of using vaccines derived from abortion, an assessment of cooperation with evil in terms of distance from the original abortion is a necessary, but ultimately insufficient criterion because there is another distinct and more immediate category of sin involved.
We must reject, on moral grounds, all COVID-19 vaccines that have any connection to aborted preborn baby cells (especially those babies who were 'kept alive' long enough for scientists to extract the kidneys or retinas from which they derived the desired 'material.') Time and distance are irrelevant to profiteering from such abominations for any reason, even life-saving in the present or future.
LifeSiteNews has obtained Bishop Douglas Crosby’s letter stating that unvaccinated priests ‘may not be permitted entrance’ to hospitals and schools. In ‘order that all clergy can carry out their ministries effectively, including celebrating Mass and the other Sacraments, it is imperative that they get fully vaccinated,’ he wrote.
The bills would either eliminate the religious exemption or else make the exemption much harder to obtain by incentivizing institutions to reject students who seek religious exemptions, allowing minors to get vaccines without parental approval, and letting schools make up their own vaccine requirements.
Those who will be tasked with controlling the population’s compliance with the new rules will not be subject to them, perhaps because the government fears massive resignations and will need every hand on deck to keep track of citizens’ every movement.
