The law, which Gov. Bill Lee signed Friday, mandates that schools lose funding for violating the state’s ban on ‘transgender’ athletes in sports for the opposite sex.
The executive order would permit the National Guard to be brought in to deal with 'certain health care and emergency services operations,' while temporary quarantine facilities could be built.
The law prohibits ‘a healthcare prescriber from prescribing a course of treatment that involves hormone treatment for gender dysphoric or gender incongruent prepubertal minors.’
Gov. Bill Lee on Monday also signed a bill requiring businesses to post notices if they let people use bathrooms designated for the sex other than their own.
