Enshrining a 'right to abortion' would be 'an unjust law, devoid of an ethical foundation and destined to be a cause of perpetual conflict among the citizens of the EU,' the European bishops wrote.
Apart from the fact that such a suggestion is contrary to natural law, which forbids the taking of innocent life, abortion is very clearly not a right under international law, conventions, and treaties.
The Council urged governments to 'ensure that citizens are informed that the vaccination is NOT mandatory and that no one is politically, socially, or otherwise pressured to get themselves vaccinated, if they do not wish to do so themselves'
