Crown civilian witness and Ottawa resident Paul Jorgenson said he felt he was 'threatened' when asked by Freedom Convoy protesters why he was wearing a mask outdoors.
Kim Ayotte, who works as the general manager of emergency and protective services for the city of Ottawa, said at the trial for Freedom Convoy leaders Tamara Lich and Chris Barber that his 'observations of the convoy were limited to his office window and occasional walks.'
Day nine of the trial against Freedom Convoy leaders Tamara Lich and Chris Barber saw a police captain on the 'front line' of the protest admit he was able to take a lunch break during the infamous crackdown at the tail-end of the event.
'It is the government and the police authorities that should be answering questions about why they chose to stand against citizens rather than with citizens,' said Alberta lawyer Eva Chipiuk.
Day three and four of the trial against Freedom Convoy leaders Tamara Lich and Chris Barber saw the judge express her displeasure with the Crown for improperly submitting thousands of pages of evidence.
