In a dark day for pro-lifers and babies, 780 out of 902 Senators and National Assembly members in France voted to enshrine abortion as a guaranteed 'freedom' in the once-Catholic nation's constitution.
The pro-abortion law has been fast-tracked by the French government in order to obtain its adoption on or around March 8, 'International Women’s Day.' For that to happen, the text will need to be approved in identical terms by the French Senate by the end of February.
Apart from the fact that such a suggestion is contrary to natural law, which forbids the taking of innocent life, abortion is very clearly not a right under international law, conventions, and treaties.
