At issue was a draft policy requiring school staff to 'use the name and pronoun that correspond to [a student’s] gender identity' at a student or parent’s request.
A spokesperson cited privacy concerns for the new policy, saying 'we have a lot of individuals who identify as male but actually are female, or vice versa.'
