New Illinois law bans religious groups from firing employee for having an abortion
Under the law signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Catholic parishes would be unable to fire employees who show through ‘reproductive decisions’ such as abortion that they are at odds with the employer’s pro-life principles.
