The Southern Poverty Law Center is arguing that to claim sexual orientation is changeable and that counseling can help effect such change is inherently fraudulent.
"The bill is a classic example of reverse discrimination that subjects former homosexuals ... to an increasingly hostile environment," Arthur Goldberg of JONAH told LifeSiteNews.com.
The governor has not said whether he will sign or veto the bill, which could cause parents to lose custody of their children under certain circumstances.
