HB 1590 would ban most abortions at 20 weeks, down from 24 weeks, and HB 1416 would block state or local governments from forcing pro-life centers to promote abortion or contraception.
SB 268 would have protected various female-only facilities. Republican lawmakers are not believed to have the necessary votes to override Ayotte’s veto.
