A new form of black Mass is beginning to gain traction in the Church today: LGBT 'Pride Masses,' increasingly celebrated or approved even by bishops and cardinals.
The Chicago cardinal has long been a supporter of homosexuals in the Church and has defied its teachings on offering Holy Communion to those living in illicit unions.
'This event was billed as a ‘Pride Mass’ organized to coincide with Pride Month, an annual secular observance that supports members of the LGBTQ community on every level, including lifestyle and behavior, which the Church cannot endorse,' Bishop David Zubik said.
