Gibbons was on trial on a charge of disobeying a court order in regard to her arrest outside the "Morgentaler Clinic" abortion site in Toronto last June 11.
Wagner has been repeatedly arrested for peacefully entering abortion facilities and attempting to speak to abortion-bound women, offering them a rose and encouraging them to choose life for their babies.
Gibbons will join fellow pro-life demonstrator Mary Wagner, who is awaiting trial on mischief-related charges for her demonstration at the “Women’s Care Clinic” abortion site.
Justice William R. Wolski had found her guilty two days earlier of disobeying a court order after her arrest outside the "Morgentaler Clinic" abortion site.
Court cases for Linda Gibbons and Mary Wagner are slowly making their way through the courts as the two women separately face charges for recent incidents of pro-life activism. Gibbons actually has two streams of cases on the go.
The arrest took place about 1 1/2 hours after Gibbons first appeared outside the facility with a placard reading, “Why, mom? When I have so much love to give.”
