Oregon woman ‘happy to be alive’ today after doctor stalled her assisted suicide request
Jeanette Hall was given six to 12 months to live after a cancer diagnosis in 2000. She settled on assisted suicide, but her doctor, Kenneth Stevens, thought that her chances with treatment were good. She has now been cancer-free for 24 years.
