The bill would not only strike a preemptive blow against same-sex “marriage,” but would further strengthen marriage by ending heterosexual domestic partnerships.
An injunction issued Monday by a federal judge has prevented dissemination of the plates, which feature drawings of two smiling children and the words “Choose Life.”
“The President has long believed that gay and lesbian couples deserve the same rights and legal protections as straight couples,” White House spokesperson Shin Inouye said.
