The billboards, directing viewers to the website ThatsAbortion.com, display a profile image of Obama with the words, "Every 21 minutes, our next possible leader is aborted."
"Family planning doesn't just hurt women and families directly, it harms them indirectly by taking precious funds away from legitimate aid programs," said Colin Mason of PRI.
“Every 21 minutes, our next possible LEADER is aborted,” states the ad, which aims to draw attention to the disproportionately high abortion rate among blacks in the U.S.
The lawsuit argues that the U.S. Constitution does not permit Congress to compel an individual to engage in economic activity, such as purchasing health insurance.
