The move comes as more than half of Disney consumers reportedly think the sprawling global corporation was wrong to oppose Florida’s legislation to protect children from the harms of radical gender ideology.
‘No teacher should be promoting gender identity discussions with small children in a classroom setting — which is exactly what this bill says and why I support it,’ co-sponsor state Sen. Burt Jones said.
Introduced to the Florida House by Rep. Joe Harding (R), the legislation seeks to 'reinforce the fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding the upbringing and control of their children.'
