The Florida governor said the left-wing narrative accusing him of book banning is a 'nasty hoax' that has been used 'in service of trying to pollute and sexualize our children.'
'I proudly stand with my colleagues in opposing this exclusionary law, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that similar legislation does not come to Michigan,' said attorney general Dana Nessel.
The bishops said the governor's policies 'uphold parents’ God-given and constitutional right to guide their child’s development. They also protect the First Amendment rights of students and staff.'
