Cardinal Paul Josef Cordes was a charitable man who quietly and carefully spoke out in favor of Church teaching during the pontificate of Pope Francis.
Trying to give some lay people ecclesiastical governance authority which they cannot have, by means of misguided pre-conciliar theories, is not an answer to the question of what the ecclesiastical mission of all lay people is.
