It has been quite the week for Catholics as Pope Francis has once again shocked the world with the most un-Catholic statements. Like in 2016, when he praised Italy’s best known pro-abortion politician, Pope Francis this week praised the radically pro-abortion President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins.
The altar has traditionally been reserved for the Pope alone, and unauthorized use formerly incurred excommunication. Liturgist Dr. Kwasniewski described the decision as an attempt to ‘destroy any vestige of the sacred, the set-apart, the privileged, the untouchable, the elevated, the off-limits.’
Mankind, ‘in the mode of male and female, is ordered to procreation, as well as the fact that the community of male and female and the openness to the transmission of life determine the essence of what is called marriage.’
