French legislators overwhelmingly vote to enshrine ‘freedom’ of abortion in constitution
The pro-abortion law has been fast-tracked by the French government in order to obtain its adoption on or around March 8, 'International Women’s Day.' For that to happen, the text will need to be approved in identical terms by the French Senate by the end of February.
