Dr. Malone: Trump’s enthusiasm for AI-driven cancer vaccine development is dangerously naive
The idea that scientists could sequence the genome of a cancer cell and develop a universal cancer vaccine within 48 hours for that type of tumor is profoundly naïve. We do not yet understand how to circumvent fundamental problems associated with cancer immunology.
