A previous ruling made in December said that San Diego Unified School District’s jab mandate constituted a usurpation of powers belonging to the California legislature and the Department of Public Health.
‘This decision that school districts do not have authority to require the COVID-19 vaccine echoes statewide, and it shows that parents coming together in a grassroots movement to uphold our children’s rights is powerful and effective.’
San Diego residents argued the school district was engaging in “cancel culture,” discriminating against Catholicism and ignoring the citizens who wanted Serra’s name to remain.
