Commenting on the situation of the SSPX – and whether priests might seek to join the SSPX should the Old Mass be restricted – Schneider said it is ‘difficult' to say that SSPX priests 'are outside the church or are schismatic when they possess the ordinary faculties of Confession given by the Pope himself.’
