'51% of humans are biological females, they simply deserve their own category of sport, free from any person, who is not female,' Sharron Davies wrote on X.
Swim Ontario is not only allowing Nicholas Cepeda to compete and change with young girls, but they enabled him by blocking media from reporting on an event.
'Of course, men wouldn’t want to compete in a third category against other men when competing in the women’s category is easier,' former Kentucky swimmer Kaitlynn Wheeler said.
The University of Pennsylvania's athletic department told female swimmers, 'Don't talk to the media. You will regret it,' after allowing Thomas to compete on the women's team, Paula Scanlan said.
'It doesn’t add up. It’s incredibly, just, insulting. Think of all the athletes at UPenn, the deserving female athletes who did not get this nomination, and Thomas did after quite literally only one year,' Riley Gaines told Tucker Carlson on Monday.
The new policy, which goes into effect today, stops men from competing against women unless 'they have not experienced any part of male puberty beyond Tanner Stage 2 or before age 12, whichever is later.'
