While it's highly likely that Pope Francis holds multiple heretical views, he must be recognized as the Pope while at the same time understanding that true obedience includes lawful resistance of human superiors, even the Pope, when the faith and souls are at stake.

An impressive number of Catholic theologians hold that the universal and peaceful adherence of the Church to a man as pope, is an infallible sign that the claimant is indeed the true pope. But does that argument hold for Francis?
